European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Vilnius International Airport intends to dismiss 250 employees in Vilnius by the end of September, 2009. At the moment the airport employs 696 people. The main cause of the dismissals is internal restructuring of the company intended to save up to 12 million LTL (3.48 million EUR). At present 14 Airlines operate scheduled flights from the airport.
