Description
Saint-Jean Industries-Lyon, a manufacturer of aluminium parts for motor vehicles, is to close its plant in Vénissieux with the loss of 108 jobs. The company was put into receivership in mid-Jan 2009. The closure is due to the crisis hitting hard the car industry and the decision of Renault Trucks to stop being supplied by Saint-Jean Industries-Lyon and order parts from India instead.
