Description
ABB, a manufacturer of production and automations technology, has dismissed 266 workers in its Swedish units at Ljungsbro (30 employees affected), Malmö (55 employees affected), Västerås (165 employees affected) and Storvik (16 employees affected). The dismissals are the result of decreasing orders.
ABB produces power products that are key instruments to transmit and distribute electricity. They also produce power systems, automation products, process automation and robotics. The ABB Groups of companies operates in around 100 countries and employs about 120,000 people.
