European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Kolastyna, a cosmetics producer, plans to discontinue its manufacturing operations and focus on marketing and sales. To this end, it has contracted with the Krakow-based Laboratoire L'Ideal Parisien and with Laboratorium Kosmetycznym Mława for production of the cosmetics hereto made by Kolastyna itself, with the use of recipes and ingredients supplied by Kolastyna. These changes will result in the redundancy of 100 employees from Kolastyna's Krakow facility; the redundancies will be implemented from 25 June until 24 July 2009.
