Wincanton Logistics have announced that 368 redundancies have been made as it closed its Brockworth site in Gloucestershire. 82 workers have relocated to other sites within the company. Wincanton said the depot was closed as it was too small and unfit for purpose. David Owen, from economic partnership Gloucestershire First explained "we are all spending less money because of the state of the economy - this means there is less need to move goods around the country".
