European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
British multinational Logica has opened a new centre for electricity, water and gas solutions creating 100 jobs in Sacavém in the outskirts of Lisbon. The company launched its international Utilities Competence Centre in April. The centre will develop technologies that will enable a more efficient management of consumption. At present Logica employs 1000 workers in Portugal and will create 100 more highly qualified jobs, in the area of engineering and management.
