European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Sousacamp the company which leads the production of fresh mushrooms in Portugal will create 165 more jobs in their units (Vila flor, Vila Real and Paredes) all located in the north of Portugal. This business expansion will involve an investment of €17.5 million. Through the of Rural Development Program (Programa de desenvolvimento Rural - PRODER), the Government will contribute €5.5 million. The company expects to double the production of mushrooms, of which some 11% will be exported especially to Spain.
