European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Ursus Breweries, the Romanian subsidiary of SABMiller group, has announced the dismissal of all 200 employees with the closure of the Bere Azuga beer factory. In 2008, the company reported a turnover of EUR 7.7 million (with 4% more than in 2007) and financial losses of EUR 6 million.
