Description

It has been announced that the Romanian National Railway Company CFR Infrastructură intends to dismiss around 1,500 persons fulfiling the legal conditions for retirement, in 2009. The measure is part of a large restructuring plan affecting the three railway transport companies announced by the Ministry of Transport and resulting in the dismissal of approximately 3,700 workers. At present the company has approximately 27,900 employees.
