Description

The National Railway Passenger Company CFR Călători, provider of passengers railway transport services, announced the dismissal of approximately 920 persons, fulfiling the legal conditions for retirement, in 2009. The measure is part of a large restructuring plan affecting the three railway transport companies announced by the Ministry of Transport and resulting in the dismissal of approximately 3,700 workers. At present the company has around 17,000 employees.
