European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
In March 2009 a court decision was handed down announcing the bankruptcy of the Krosno glassworks (Huta Szkła KROSNO). In May, the now-bankrupt company is to start dismissing all its 2000 employees. However, the company's administrator has expressed hope that, once some assets have been disinvested and the glassworks have found a new investor, some of the employees may be kept on.
