Description

Freudenberg, a French branch of German manufacturer of sealing and vibration control technology components in the automotive industry, is to cut 114 out of 425 jobs in Langres, in Houte-Marne. The cuts are blamed on the slump in demand for company's products on European market following the crisis in the automotive industry.

Freudenberg employs 1750 workers in France and operates two plants -in Langres and in Macon. In 2008 its turnover amounted to 115 millions of Euro with 90% coming from automotive industry.
