European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
In March 2009, the competent court announced the bankruptcy of Trans Południe, a haulage company based in Dębica, declaring that the company's debts of PLN 110 million exceed its capabilities. The entire workforce of 620 received notices terminating their employment in early April 2009. Trans Południe's fleet of almost 500 vehicles has shrunk to 70.
