European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The bank of Nordea Suomi is starting personnel negotiations and planning to cut 150 jobs in its units in Finland.
According to Trade Union Suora there is no financial or productivity reasons for the planned reductions. Nordea employs total of 9000 employees in its 345 units in Finland. HR Manager Pekka Ojala from Nordea only comments: "the final decisions concerning reductions will clarify during the personnel negotiations".
