Description
The agriculture equipment manufacturer John Deere Forestry announced personnel negotiations with a view to cutting 60-80 jobs in its Tampere and Joensuu units in Finland. In addition, the company is planning to temporarily lay-off its entire personnel for 2-6 weeks during 2009.
John Deere Forestry employs total of 630 employees in Finland, of which some 240 works in the Tampere unit and some 390 in Joensuu unit.
