Description
Insurance firm Royal Sun Alliance (RSA) has announced that they are to cut 500 jobs in Bristol as part of measures to save the company £70m. The closure is due to be completed at the end of June 2010. Unite is meeting with the company to urge them to reconsider the decision. The company has announced that it will attempt to support its staff to find alternative employment and will assist in many areas including help for writing CVs, liaison with other employers in the area to seek out prospective job opportunities.
