European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Algeco, a company specialised in modular contruction, plans to cut of 135 jobs in France. Four regional and 10 out of 18 local agencies will be closed, whereas two company's production sites will not be affected by the cuts. As of 27th April 2009 the restructuring plan is not yet accepted by the trade unions; the negotiations continue.
