Description

The Swedish furniture retailer Ikea plans to invest €70 million to open a new store in Loures. The new IKEA store should be open by 1st Semester 2010 and will create 480 new jobs.The Loures Council representatives believes that this project will strengthen the economic tire of the municipality especially in this period of severe economic crisis and unemployment. The excellent accessibility and proximity to the airport were some of the main reasons for the choice of Frielas as a location of the new store.
