Description
Private French retail group Auchan is to create 1,000 jobs in Portugal with an investment of €80 million. The new jobs will be created by the end of this year. The group plans to open three Pão de Açúcar supermarkets, two Jumbo hypermarkets in Amadora and Guimarães and six new petrol stations.
As of April 2009, there is no information on the number employed across the country
or when employment at the new outlets will commence.
