The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Netia, a Polish telecoms operator, is planning to cut 130 jobs by the end of May 2009. Other cost-cutting measures include reduction of wages for another 40 persons and wage freeze. Netia currently employs 1,495 workers.
