Description
On 8 April 2009, the Austrian based manufacturer of refractories, RHI, announced to cut around 100 out of 1,100 jobs in Germany due to a a steep slump in demand. Job cuts are part of a global restructuring programme by which RHI seeks to save 80 million euros annually. The cuts are to affect production as well as administration departments.
