European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Jarvis, a railway engineering firm, is to cut 450 jobs across the UK. The cuts are blamed on delays in engineering contracts. The company is in consultation with the unions over the job losses and as of 6 April 2009, there is no further information on when the redundancies will occur and which sites they will affect.
