Description
On 31 March 2009, the producer of car brakes Knorr-Bremse announced to cut around 500 jobs in 2009, due to a steep decline in orders in its truck division. The cuts are in line with a saving and restructuring programme already prepared in autumn 2008.
At the end of 2008, the company employed around 15,000 employees worldwide.
