European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 17 March 2009, Ahlers - a German manufacturer of men's clothing - announced that it is to cut 99 out of 730 jobs in Germany. The cuts are a part of a restructuring programme covering Ahlers' business worldwide . The company foresees to cut 770 jobs worldwide, mostly in Poland. Polish production is to be relocated to Sri Lanka.
