Description
Danish bank, Sydbank which has headquarters in Åbenrå, announced 17 February that 100 jobs will be cut due to a bad economical result for 2008. One of the major reasons was the collapse of the EBH bank which cost Sydbank more than €2 million. Sydbank is nationwide and had 2,479 employees at the end of 2008. There is no precise information about the timeline of the lay-offs.
