Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Due to the global economic slowdown, consultancy firm Cybercom Sweden East has given notice to 50 employees at the units in Stockholm and Östersund. Total number of employees in Stockholm is 350 and in Östersund the total number is 100 employees. To meet the current market conditions, Cybercom is taking several measures to restructure its Finnish and Swedish operations, including reducing its employees. Up to 110 employees in Tampere, Rauma, and Helsinki. in Finland may also be affected. After these measures, Cybercom will have about 1,400 employees in the Nordic countries. The group employs around 2000 workers worldwide. The Cybercom Group is a high-tech consultancy group that supplies IT consultancy services in security, portal solutions, mobile services, and embedded systems. Cybercom offer its services to companies in the telecom, industry, media, banking and financial services, retail and the public sector.
