European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Ermenegildo Zegna, one of the exclusive clothing brands, is preparing to submit an ERE (redundancy dismissal procedure) that will affect 120 people. Ermenegildo Zegna, has announced that is will carry out an adjustment in its headquarters of Sant Quirze del Vallès (Barcelona) "as a result of the fall in demand in the current economic situation". The company, for which a total of 900 employees work in Spain, will focus on the restructure of its Catalan centre of production which employs 700 of these.
The Spanish authorities have applied for aid from the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF).
