Description
On 17 March 2009, Hella - a manufacturer of lights and electronics for cars - announced to cut around 700 jobs by autumn 2009. The cuts will mainly affect the sites in Lippstadt and Paderborn where 450 out of 5,500 jobs are to be cut in a socially acceptable manner. Dismissals for operational reasons are outruled by an agreement between the works council and the company's management until the end of September 2008.
