The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Apollo 2000, a retailer of electrical appliances which has gone into administration, is to cut up to 180 jobs. Administrators announced that all 12 company stores will close and the majority of the staff will be made redundant. As of 22 March 2009 there is no information on when the job losses will occur.
