MEN Media is to cut 150 jobs at its sites in Accrington, Ashton, Macclesfield, Oldham, Rochdale, Rossendale, Salford and Wilmslow. The company plans to close the above plants blaming a decline in revenues and will move operations to central Manchester offices. As of 15 March 2009 there is no information on when the job losses will occur. MEN Media is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Guardian Media Group in Manchester. As one of Greater Manchester's longest established companies, it operates a very diverse array of media leading brands in the UK's leading regional conurbation.
