European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Azienda Trasporti Milanesi (Atm), the company that manages public transport in the Milan urban area, is to create 1,100 by the end of 2011. 500 workers will be hired in 2009. The company will recruit drivers, but also engineers and technicians.
Atm is a Public Limited Company belonging to the municipality of Milan and manages the public transport system in the urban area and in 87 Municipalities in the province. It has around 8,500 employees.
