The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Metis, one of the main employment agencies operating in Italy, is to cut 150 jobs out of around 550 employees who operate in several branches in Italy. According to the company, the job cuts are mainly due to the recent economic recession that is affecting most of economic sectors, with the consequent fall in workforce's demand. Metis is an employment agency, which offers recruitment, training and HRM services. It has around 550 employees in Italy.
