European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 5 March 2009, the Federal Employment Agency announced to create 5,000 jobs within the next weeks. The job creation scheme is a reaction to the economic crisis and to the rising unemployment rate.
