Description
Hoover, a manufacturer of electrical goods, is to finish production at its site in Merthyr Tydfil with the loss of all 337 production jobs. Production is being halted on 14 March 2009 as Hoover says the costs of making goods at the site are too high. The company will keep its headquarters at the site, which will continue to employ 113 people.
