Description
Comet, an electrical retailer, is to cut 280 jobs across the UK. Four of the company's service centres will be closed. The affected units are Stockport, Barnsley, Bridgend and Broxburn in West Lothian. The company employs 10,000 people across the UK, with around 1,600 of these operating in service centres and the head office. As of 8 March 2009 no date has been set for these closures.
