Description

The Body Shop, a cosmetics retailer, is to cut 150 jobs across the UK. The jobs are part of a wider scheme to cut 275 jobs at the chain worldwide, with the company, which is owned by French multinational L'Oreal, operating over 2,400 stores in 61 countries. As of 1 March 2009, no date has been given for when these job losses will occur, and no data is available as to how many people are employed by the Body Shop in the UK.
