European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Carphone Warehouse, a telecommunications retailer, is to cut 400 jobs across the UK. The company, which employs 12500 of its 21400 staff in the UK, has experienced reduced demand. As of 1 March 2009 no date has been set for these cuts.
