Description
The French PSA Peugeot-Citroen car plant based in Trnava is to make redundant 190 employees by the end of 2009. The redundancies are a result of the downturn in the automative industry. The employees to be made redundant are technicians from the project team working on launching the new Citroën model C3 Picasso. According to company representative, the number of redundancies could be lower if the industry were to recover over the course of the year.
