European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Tatraring Poprad, a company producing aluminium castings for washing machines, is to close with the loss of 139 jobs. The dismissals will take place from now until the end of April 2009. The closure is not as a result of the economic crisis, but is due to a lack of suitable premises for manufacturing.
