The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
AIR France KLM has announced that it will cut 1,000 to 1,200 jobs by the end of 2009. The restructuring will take place through the exit of temp workers and natural wastage. The division of job losses between France and the Netherlands is not yet clear. In 2008, KLM has already made between 1,000 and 1,500 temp workers redundant.
