European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Leeds City Council has announced that it is to cut 650 jobs as it attempts to reduce its costs as it has received lower government grants. However, the council, which employs 33,000 people, is to also create 200 new posts. The changes will take place in the next year.
