Kentucky Fried Chicken, a fast food restaurant, has announced the creation of 9,000 new jobs in the UK by February 2012. The chain, which currently operates 760 outlets in the UK, has seen demand for its cheap food increase with the current economic slowdown. The company has stated that these jobs will be created across the UK in the next three to five years. It is not known how many people are currently employed in the UK by the chain.
