The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Ljunghäll, which supplies finished high pressure die cast alluminium components to the automotive industry, gave notice to 65 employees in Vimmerby. The redundancies are a result of the economic climate and subsequent reduced demand within the international automotive market.
Ljunghäll, which employed 455 workers before the notices, specialises in highly engineered technical castings for Heavy Vehicles, Passenger Cars, Telecommunication and other Industries.
