Description
Esplex, a company of the Acer Corporation of Taiwan, plans to transfer its facilities from Plymouth, England and from Angers, France to Wrocław. The new Esplex centre in Wrocław will repair and sell computers and components; it is expected to hire 200 persons by mid 2010. The Plymouth facility, meanwhile, will lose 140 jobs as of March 2009; the company has attributed this move to the lower operating costs in Poland.
