Segerström Automative in Eskilstuna filed for bankruptcy on 12th December 2008 and as a result, 220 employees were given notice. Segerström Automative was founded in 1906 as a supplier of metal components. Its main customers are commercial vehicle companies, for example Volvo and Scania. The company specialises in metal fabrication, welding, powder coating and assembly. Aros Quality Group have acquired the assets in Segerström Automative and the new company name is AQ Segerström (see separate factsheet No 12838).
