Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Capgemini, one of the main consultancy companies in information technology and outsourced services, is to create 150 jobs by the end of 2009. The new jobs will be created in its Italian sites located at La Spezia, Milan, Rome, Stezzano (in province of Bergamo) and Turin. According to the company, the recruitment in 2009 will mainly involve young graduates with 2-3 years of experience. Capgemini has around 88,000 people worldwide. In Italy, it has around 1,400 employees.
