European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Sitel, a company that provides call centre services, is to cut 220 jobs at its sites in Derby and Newcastle. The job losses are a result of the company's restructuring programme, which will see operations concentrated at one site in Newcastle. As of 15 February 2009 it has not been announced when these job losses will occur, or how many jobs will remain at the restructured company.
