Description
Foster + Partners, a firm of architects, is to cut 300 jobs. The London-based company, which has designed buildings such as London's City Hall and the "Gherkin", has stated that it is to reduce its current workforce of 1,300 as projects are delayed or cancelled owing to current economic conditions. As of 15 February 2009, no date has been set for the implementation of these redundancies.
