European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Nowy Styl of Krosno, which produces furniture and chairs, plans to reduce its workforce by 700 by the end of 2009. The company employs 3,400 people. The company is citing the economic crisis and its impact on the furniture industry, as the reason for the lay offs.
