Description

Stomana Industry, a steel manufacturer based in Pernik, is to make 331 employees redundant. The company stopped production in some units just a few days ago. The management signed an agreement with the trade unions CITUB and Podkrepa for social support for the redundant workers. The company stopped production due to the lack of orders as a result of the economic crisis. The workers on fixed term contracts and workers close to retirement age agreed to a voluntary termination of their employment contracts.
